An astrologer since 1972, Don is known for the warmth and deep insight he brings to his counseling practice. He has been writing a weekly column since 1983 for up to a quarter million people - on-line and in local papers. He has produced shows for radio and television, and has taught and lectured at many colleges across the country (In chronological order: UMass, Hampshire College, Mt Holyoke, Holyoke and Greenfield Community Colleges, Texas A&M, Univ of Colorado, St Petersburg College and an astronomy course at UC Santa Cruz).

He started writing "Predictions for the USA" for Astro Annual, a national publication, in 1996 and more recently completed a reconstruction of one of the earliest models of Stonehenge - an observational site originally used as an observatory to monitor the heavens. An article featuring this 'Woodhenge' appeared in the New York Times in August, 2002. Starting in 2003, Don has been working with Fiske Planetarium in Boulder on a show entitled, "Stars, Myths and Dragons" pushing back the limits of what ancient man knew about the heavens and when. Since 2004, he has been criss-crossing the country, offering astrological presentations, planetarium shows and Star*Myths from Ft Lauderdale to Ashland, OR; from Boston to Phoenix and points in-between. In picking my first book on astrology off the shelf in 1969, DaneRudyar’s The Astrology of Personality, I was awoken to this language ofsymbols, a particular lens through which I view myself and all the world about me. This language was at once so familiar I couldn’t help but think I must have used it in one or many previous lives. However, it was the experience of living the language, of immersing myself in it, that has taught me it’s meaning. The symbols have come alive for me through direct experience – seeing what happens as planetary transits impact my chart as well as those close to me and those for whom I’ve done readings over the years, as well as the interaction between people who act as triggers for each other’s planetary placements.

Having been a theatre major in college, astrodrama appealed to me. In astrodrama we play the role of the planets in people’s charts using costumes when possible. In 1986, shortly after I returned to my family home south of Tucson, I joined the Tucson Astrologer’s Guild and became one of the Astroplayers, a group formed out of members who enjoyed the improvisational acting in astrodrama and even performed a few written scripts for community cable programming and UAC, based on astrology. What fun that was and what a great way to experience astrology! Although I don’thave the opportunity to engage in it very often at present I still enjoy astrodrama and being an active member of the Tucson Astrologers’ Guild (currently serving on the steering circle)

There have been many teachers that I have learned from over the years as well as my peers. Having a language in common brings us into contact with others who share this language. This thread led me at last to Daniel Giamario, a man with a chart very much like mine, born only three days before me, who had embarked on his own visioning of astrology. The way he incorporated the experience of the night sky particularly spoke to me, perhaps reminding my unconscious self of those lifetimes of ritual and ceremony under the night sky and at the yearly turning points, of sunrises and sunsets devoted to thee quinoxes and solstices. The mystery and magic of life speaks through this connection of earth and sky. To become more self aware cannot help but include the awareness of our greater self, embodied in this connection.  I love to watch the unfolding scenarios night after night as the planets transit through the zodiacal constellations, to see the contact they have with regal stars;  the metering of energy marked by the moon. Sharing this with others has become part of my path and since 1998 I have taught many night sky classes inthe community near me.

Daniel’s approach to working with a person’s chart spoke to me as well and I was the third or fourth person to officially become certified as a Shamanic Astrologer under Daniel’s mentoring process. To see ourselves as part of an on going process of growth and evolution rather than a fixed and fated life is what I see as Shamanic Astrology. Faye Cossar started juxtaposition b.v. in 2006 after working as a freelance consultant for many years. Originally from New Zealand, Faye has lived in Amsterdam since 1986. She has also worked in Australia, Fiji, South Africa and England.

Her career started in ICT working for a Hospital Board in Auckland while she was attending university part-time. From there she moved to the computer manufacturer ICL, and worked as an account manager and business consultant. Her management experience started at ICL where she ran a Customer Centre, responsible for the successful implementation of many ICT systems. In 1984 Faye moved to London and started her freelance career as a systems analyst at Prudential Assurance, and later as a management trainer responsible for the email systems in BP, one of the first companies to implement email at an early stage.

Her interest in astrology started in the 70's in New Zealand, however living in London provided the opportunity to undertake serious study and to take exams beginning in 1984.

On moving to Amsterdam she started as a part time professional astrologer while continuing her management role at DCE, an ICT consultancy company based in Amsterdam. Here she managed the internal training and formed part of the strategic PR and marketing team, responsible for the corporate image.

On leaving DCE in 1992 she returned to freelance consulting, as well as becoming general manager responsible for finance, of BIZZO bv, a consultancy company. Her clients included Anglian Water in Cambridge (project manager), the Ministry of Transport in the Hague (consultant) and Register Amsterdam ( project manager). Her work in astrology also continued and she extended her expertise by gaining diplomas in therapy including Inner Child work.

The combination of Faye's background in business, together with her therapy training and her long experience with astrology, makes her unique. She set up juxtaposition because she could see what a powerful mix astrology and business is.

Since 1992, Faye has had many satisfied private and business clients, as well as students, in her school the Amsterdam School of Astrology. Currently as well as consulting, she teaches in Amsterdam and lectures frequently in Holland and London. She has also lectured in Bath and York in England and in Belgium and Norway.

Faye was one of the first MA graduates in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology in 2004, from Bath Spa University College, the first university in the world to offer such a programme. Her dissertation offers a life cycle model for organisational development and her research covered companies such as KLM, Martinair and C&A.
