February Astro Bits
Hello Everyone,
It looks like February came in with a bang of cold weather and storms for
just about everyone. Take heart, we are moving along to Spring. Let's take a
look at what the planets are doing now.
Saturn is moving retrograde slowly and slowly moving away from the exact
square it has been making to Pluto for the last couple of months. I dare to say
there will be no uplifting comments for those of you who are experiencing it.
Grim determination is about the best you can expect but if that's what you need
to change anything in your life or get something done, this transit is for you.
If you have experienced losses, this will intensify your feelings about them, if
you have had struggles in your professional space it surely has been even more
difficult. People will seem to be more negative or angry. Step away from the
emotions if you can and determine how you can best use this energy and not get
caught up in the negative aspects of these two bad boys going toe to toe. Put
them together as an unbeatable force and see how much you can accomplish in any
area of your life. There will be less tension by the end of the month and it
will continue to diminish in the following months.
Uranus in Pisces and Neptune in Aquarius continue to be at 25 degrees of each
sign. A change of consciousness is possible in those touched by this team with
a spark of genius to sweeten the pot. Venus moves into a conjunction with
Neptune the second week of February creating the potential for some romantic,
exciting and possibly bizarre parings. Always a fun combination but seldom a
lasting one. Neptune and Mars meet up the last half of the month and these two
are seldom up any good. Watch for covert actions around you and do not get
involved in anything the slightest bit suspicious or underhanded. Keep your
identity and yourself secure and if something looks too good to be true, it
probably is. Mars is retrograde and I am sure you have all noticed that
activities seem to be progressing at 2 steps forward and one back. Use the one
back to make sure you are going in the right direction. Mars in Leo is rather
ego driven so you may bump into some of this in your relations with other
folks. Just remember, you don't have to play.
Right around the 20th of the month, Jupiter and Mercury are creating some
really great energy around negotiations, news, travel and great ideas. By all
means jump on that train. If you are setting up interviews or selling a house,
plan to put it together then. Jupiter is in the early degrees of Pisces which
is a very happy sign to it to be in. That being said, it is making a rather
awkward aspect to Saturn the first half of this month and old Saturn can
sometimes put a damper on good vibes that Jupiter thrives on. It may hold back
some of his natural blessings but it's okay because we can all check to see if
what we want is really what we want. A little patience everyone.
The New Moon occurs at 25 degrees of Aquarius, conjunct Neptune on February
14th - Valentines Day! Open your hearts to your loved ones and celebrate your
difference for all the rich variety it gives you in your relationships. We
don't need to be the same. How boring. Enjoy the un-sameness and tune in to
each other's vibrations. It will be a real treat. Do something grand and
unique and romantic with your Valentine. This could be the start of something
great!
The Full Moon occurs at 10 degrees of Virgo on the 28th of February. Time to
wrap up those projects on move onto something new. If you have kept your ducks
in a row, this should allow you a pat on the back and work well done. Don't nit
pick the details, just let it go and get on with it.
Okay dear hearts, Let's take the best parts of February's cosmic dance to
create our realities and deal with the harder aspects with courage and
